Terms of Sales

The present general conditions of sale are subject to French law.

In case of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable agreement, the dispute will be brought before the French courts in accordance with the rules of jurisdiction in force.

The following general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter "GTC") apply to all reservations, regardless of the sales channel used.

ARTICLE 1 RESERVATION

1.1 Acknowledgment of reservation: Reservation of an Apartment with Stay in Sarlat is only valid upon written confirmation of the reservation. The client's reservation is acknowledged by email sent by Stay in Sarlat to the client, summarizing and confirming the reservation.

In the case of an online reservation, on the website www.stayinsarlat.com, the acknowledgment of reservation by email summarizes the contract offer, the reserved services, the prices, the sales conditions related to the selected rate, accepted by the client, information regarding after-sales service and commercial guarantees, as well as the address of the seller's establishment where the client can present complaints.

1.2 The client, prior to ordering the services, declares that the reservation of these services is made for personal use. As a consumer, the client has specific rights, which would be compromised if the reserved services were used for purposes within the scope of their commercial, industrial, artisanal, or liberal activity. It is prohibited to conduct commercial or professional activities in the accommodations without the express authorization of VDP Sarlat - Stay in Sarlat.

The client is solely responsible for their choice of services and their suitability for their needs, so Stay in Sarlat cannot be held liable in this regard.

All reservations are nominative and cannot be transferred to a third party, whether free of charge or for consideration.

1.3 The photographs presented on the website and/or the catalog are not contractual. The photographs, graphic representations, and texts reproduced are used to provide as accurate an overview as possible of the accommodation services offered; variations may occur, especially due to changes in furniture or any renovations. The client cannot claim any complaint on this basis.

ARTICLE 2 RATES

All reservations, regardless of their origin, are payable in euros, unless otherwise specified.

Prices are flexible and variable depending on various customizable criteria such as the reservation date, the start date of the stay, the duration of the stay, and the typology of the accommodation (studio, 2 rooms, etc.).

They are per Accommodation and per night for the chosen dates and duration of stay and include: the rental of the accommodation, maintenance, consumables, taxes, and charges (water, electricity, heating).

According to local regulations in force, certain additional taxes, such as the tourist tax, may be requested upon arrival in the accommodations.

Unless included in the rate or specifically selected during the reservation, additional services are optional and will be billed separately if applicable.

Any modification or establishment of new legal or regulatory taxes imposed by the competent authorities will be automatically reflected in the prices indicated at the billing date.

The price examples indicated as "FROM" in the communication materials and on the website refer to selected overnight stays and are only valid for the indicated departure dates and cities.

ARTICLE 3 SECURITY DEPOSIT

3.1 All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card number on the start date of your stay and accompanied by the payment of the total amount of the reservation.

3.1.1 The amount of the security deposit is specific to each accommodation offered by Stay in Sarlat. This amount is specified on the accommodation description.

3.1.2 The security deposit will be made on the secure Lodgify platform (Stripe) using a valid credit card. The sum remains blocked for 7 days and released after this period. Stay in Sarlat reserves the right to reauthorize the credit card used if necessary.

3.2 The guarantee may be used by VDP Sarlat - Stay in Sarlat in case of non-payment by the occupant of the amounts due to Stay in Sarlat, for the accommodation service and/or for the damage caused in the accommodations or common areas, or in case of theft in the accommodations. The client's credit card used for payment and stay guarantee may be debited after departure, up to the amount of an estimate for refurbishment following the observation of damage to the apartment occupied by the client. In the event of a party or noise disturbance, the entire deposit will be retained.

Failure to comply with these terms will result in the reservation not being guaranteed.

3.3 The credit card used for the reservation as well as valid identity documents must be presented upon arrival.

It is specified that the identity document of the person to whom the credit card used for payment belongs must be presented upon arrival. Otherwise, access to the Apartment will be denied by Stay in Sarlat.

3.4 Under no circumstances can the client make the rented premises their principal residence, whether for professional reasons, or for family or medical reasons. The client undertakes to have an effective principal residence throughout the rental period.
